Don Steve
Don is a former pastor, a Biblical counselor, and our co-founder and Executive Director. Don has been counseling and discipling individuals and couples since 2004. Prior to starting Uncommon Life Ministries and Uncommon Recovery in 2020, Don was the Director of Recovery Ministry at Grace Fellowship International.
Don’s passion for recovery ministry began when he worked as a counseling chaplain at America's Keswick Colony of Mercy the oldest residential addiction recovery ministry in the U.S.
Don holds a master's degree in Biblical counseling from Luther Rice University and believe's that the ability to help others is founded upon our personal experience with the One who is the healer of hearts.
Don and his wife, Leis, reside in Culpeper, Va. When not counseling, teaching or speaking. Don enjoys running, the outdoors, and loves to fish with his grandkids.
